Siamese kitten for sale

In our cattery, there are fewer Siamese kittens born compared to Orientals. Many people are surprised how Siamese kittens can be born in a litter from two Oriental parents. In fact, Orientals are essentially Siamese cats but with fully colored coats. Many cats have a pointed coat pattern, but a true Siamese cat is one that belongs to the Oriental breed group. This group also includes long-haired ones called Balinese and long-haired Orientals.

The cs gene, responsible for the pointed coat pattern, is recessive. Many Orientals carry this gene without it showing in their appearance. When two Orientals, both carriers of the cs gene, mate, they can have litters that include both Orientals and Siamese kittens. The carefully refined, more extreme-featured, modern-style Siamese is characterized by blue almond-shaped eyes, a triangular head shape, large ears, and an elongated, slender, and muscular body. I've written an article to explain in detail the genetic complexities of these wonderful cats.
