After more than 15 years of experience as a registered and responsible Cat Breeder, we at Cataristocrat have made an important decision that reflects our values and deep love for animals.
We will no longer be publishing individual prices for each kitten. Instead, we are introducing a fixed adoption fee—a more ethical and transparent way to match each kitten with their future family.
For many years, we tried to determine the cost of a kitten based on multiple factors — pedigree, type, color rarity, and even potential owners' preferences. However, we concluded that animals are not commodities and do not want them treated as such.

Our adoption fee should not be viewed as a “price for a kitten,” but rather as a contribution toward covering the real costs of the cattery: premium nutrition, veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter, testing, TICA registration, USDA licensing, professional supplies for the cattery, professional website management, taxes, and of course, our daily work of caring for all our cats and kittens — long hours, no weekends, and constant attention.
In addition, this fee reflects our ongoing investment in continuous education. As breeders, we regularly expand our knowledge in related fields such as genetics, pharmacology, nutrition science, and veterinary medicine, ensuring we apply the highest standards of health, welfare, and responsible breeding practices.
This approach ensures every kitten receives the same level of care and equal investment—regardless of color, show potential, or individual traits. It dispels the notion that one kitten is “better” than another and demonstrates that each life is equally precious.
In fact, some kittens require even more attention and resources — whether due to slower development, special needs, or simply the need for extra preparation before leaving the cattery. For us, this is a natural part of responsible breeding: we ensure every kitten is healthy, confident, and well-prepared for their new home.
By adopting this model, we want to distinguish ourselves from other breeders: our focus is not on selling kittens, but on raising them with love and integrity. Our priority is finding the right family, not the highest bidder.
We remain very selective in choosing future owners and do everything possible to ensure that each kitten goes to a safe, committed, and loving home.
If you wish to become part of our extended family, welcome.
Thank you for your understanding and support of our approach.
